Online Gallery of Historical Images We’re creating an online resource for images related to the history and heritage of ski jumping in the United States. We’re starting with a series of photo albums that were a lifelong project of Carl Darovich, a native of Iron Mountain MI. He spent his working years in Sheboygan WI, and his collection is extensive. We hope to add digital representations of other collections, whether photo albums, documents, or artifacts. We realize that collecting and retaining a trove of phyical artifacts in a single location is not as practical, nor as easily accessible, as a digital collection. We want people to be able to see it wherever they are, on computers or mobile devices. How to Use This Resource In our list of albums at right, each album has a number, which is a link. When you first open the album, you’ll see thumbnails with each page number. Next to the album number is a button that will bring up a PDF index of the pages for which we have descriptive info (names, faces, venues, dates); you can view or print the PDF. Individual pages are NOT numbered. SUBMITTING INDEX INFO: If you can help us identify names or faces not yet listed in our index pages, or additions or corrections to existing info, you’ll be able to submit those to our moderator by e- mail, and the list(s) will be updated and republished. member@americanskijumping.com Have a Collection? We’d Like to Hear From You! We’re just getting this project launched, but would like to hear from individuals who have collections that could be (at least partially) captured in digital form and included in our online collection in the future. Please contact: member@americanskijumping.com

We Invite You to be a Presenter! Would you like to be recognized for supporting our mission of preserving the history and heritage of ski jumping in the USA? Please consider a one-time tax deductible contribution. Your name (or that of your business, with a link) will be listed in the “Presented By” column in the index below, and it will help fund future acquisition, imaging, and online storage as we acquire more materials for our digital collection. We’ll have details on this program soon; we’re offering this opportunity for our members and friends to participate and be recognized as supporters of our organization and mission.
